David Shackleton and Mark Roden established Ding so that people working abroad could transfer airtime to their friends or family’s mobile phones in Ireland. Ding is the principal mobile top-up network and distributes a top-up every second and connects to 4 billion phones worldwide. Ding has its headquarters in Dublin and employs 200 people.
Christian Ryder is the Chief Technology Officer of OpenBack. He is an accomplished mobile technologist and has frequently worked on innovative technologies for prominent companies such as Ericsson. OpenBack also has a board of directors with a reputation for creating many global technology businesses.
