Are Microsoft Hinting at a Surface Pro 5

Mircosoft are now selling the Surface Pro 4 starting from €814.00 on their official website.

Despite the company staying quite on the Surface Pro 5, this 2-in-1 tablet PC has been the center of rumors these days. And now, thanks to the latest price deals on the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, the rumors are continuing to grow.

Based on a report by iDigitalTimes, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 received a €100 price cut last month and now it has received a €200 price cut. The increasing rate of the discount indicates that the company may be trying to wipe out its remaining stocks.

This implies that Microsoft may be nearing the release date of its highly anticipated new Surface device. Most of the rumors on this device are pointing toward a possible release in Spring.

These claims have even disclosed that Microsoft may be looking to launch their latest Windows 10 update along with a product that would be able to run it right out-of-the-box. Microsoft had announced some time back that it will delay the launch of the Windows 10 update to spring this year.

Aside from that, there have been some reports that claim that Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s CEO, is planning to reveal the new update via the Surface Pro 5 or the Surface Book 2. This claim shouldn’t be waved off so soon as Microsoft had even stated that one of the core reasons for the delay was so that the software could be compatible with “new surface devices.”
